HP and Relational have entered into a letter agreement under which Relational will support the HP board, and the board will nominate and support Whitworth, for the next two years, as long as Relational continues to be a significant stockholder of HP. A copy of the agreement is included as an exhibit to a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by HP today with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A phased program over the next four years will enable Elders to utilize a combination of existing technology in conjunction with automated processes and procedures for application and infrastructure management and security. This HP hybrid delivery approach offers Elders the benefits of a multisourced service environment without the associated complexity and costs of managing each component separately.

Through IBM’s new Science and Technology Center, which will be initially based at IBM’s existing Russian Systems and Technology Laboratory in Moscow, IBM and the Skolkovo Foundation will collaborate on developing innovative solutions for key Russian industries including oil and gas, transportation and retail.
